Friday Night Is Built for Volume
Firepit Fridays run from 7 to 9 p.m. at 68th Street Beach in Brant Beach, and the township's own recreation page lays out exactly who is paying for what. Air Technical Services signed on as the Grand Friday Night Sponsor. ManaFirkin Brewing Company holds the bar and concession stand, pouring beer and seltzers every single week of the season. The 2026 season opened June 26 with The Polish Nannies and has moved through Glenn Roberts Band, Garden State Radio, Man Down, and a run of acts built for a crowd that showed up to stay past sunset. On July 24, the band on stage was Frontiers, a classic rock tribute act, with the Delicias Sobre Ruedas food truck and ManaFirkin both set up on site, according to a local weekend roundup published that week. It's the same physical stage, and the Sunday series announcement confirms it: local musicians perform on the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Zack Shore REALTORS stage on Sundays too. But the hours tell you everything about who the town built this for. A two-hour midday set lets a family already spread out on towels catch a set without giving up the rest of their beach day. Nobody is arriving for this one after dinner.
Same Weekend, Two Different Crowds
The weekend of July 24 through 26 is the clearest evidence that Long Beach Township isn't running one concert series that happens to repeat. It's running two, deliberately timed so they never compete for the same audience.
